Beauty Around Us

I noticed this flower growing in a pot as I walked by and stopped to take pictures when I returned. I think it is a type of mum. Please tell me if you know what it is. Do you see the tight bud of another blossom? Here's another view of it. The subtle colors are so beautiful.
Orlando is called "The City Beautiful" and here's a view of it looking at downtown from Lake Ivanhoe, which is north of the city.
More beautiful colors in the sunset sky that silhouettes the trees and is reflected in the lake.
And three beautiful people - Deb's cousin Judie was in Orlando for a conference. All of these photos were taken Tuesday evening while we were together.

Debra,

The flower you questioned is a "Dahlia". When I was at home Mama would always have a row of Dahlias in her garden. They make beautiful flower pots and are very hardy. They come in many varities and colors.
